13 explorer radiator fan wiring harness

I am in desperate need of help. I am fixing a 13 explorer and cannot figure out where these 2 grey plugs connect. I got another assy from a parts vehicle that has the fan controller on it. Going by what ford shows, this particular explorer doesnt have the same setup. The relay for the correct fan shows a round plug , but I do not have a round plug on my wire harness. I dont know what else would power the fan.

Are those two connectors coming from the 2013 explorer or the new front end assembly?

What are the wire colors for each connector and how many pins.

The explorer itself. They are 2 pin plugs, both wires are thick like power wire. Dont remember the color at the moment. The wire color to the plug im missing is Tan/pink stripe , Black/white stripe. Both thick, and a small signal wire im guessing its red.

2013 to 2015 use 2 individual plugs for the fans. 2011 to 2012 use 1 main plug with 2 large wires and 1 small wire. Th cooling fan you have with the silver relay is for a 2011 to 2012 I literally just went thru this putting my 2015 together. Did your cooling fans get destroyed? If not you can unscrew the actual fan from the housing and trim where the plug goes a bit and put it on the 2011 2012 housing

So is there a fan controller or is it controlled by relays and the 2 grey plugs plug into the correct fan assembly for a 2013? Do you have a picture of yours?

On 2013 to 2015 it is controlled by the pcm for hi low single and dual fans. The the 2 plugs you have go directly into the fuse block. The 2011 2012 uses one power one ground and a signal wire that goes to that module you see on that cooling fan... In all reality you cannot use that setup on your harness. There would be a few ways around that tho. You can pm me and I can explain it better
