$18 for PCV rubber elbow ?

Mine didn't have a split in it, but it would collapse closed. Hit the local O'reillys, Advance Auto and Autozone, none had it, didn't even have hose to rig it. Ended up at local regular auto parts, they had it in the help section, no price. Took it to the counter, guy says do you really need this ? I said yep, he replies $18. I thought he was kidding. He wasn't. Truck runs better, but wow...

i think you got jipped thats highway robbery on help section parts. hell the 88-99 generation of GM trucks have their door handle in that section for that price.

Yep, I left with a WTF just happened. Probably less than .02 in material. Then I thought of 10 different ways I could have done it cheaper.

I got the complete line with both elbows from the dealer for $28.

Never would've thought the Dealer would have a better deal.

Same place that charged me $150 for a Dorman front driveshaft CV joint, that amazon had for $77 and Rock Auto for $86. Try to support the local "real" auto parts store and looks where that gets me.

Next time it's bring a jar of vaseline with me, or move on.
