I bought this 1991 explorer sport a couple months ago and i cant get it to pass emissions in colorado. It had a couple nasty vacuum leaks that i already fixed and that didnt do anything to change the numbers.
hc is 8.6gpm limit is 3
co is 157.6 limit is 25
co2 is 357.99
nox 0.25 limit is 4.5
So it appears im running very rich. It seems odd that the numbers are that far over the limit because the truck runs great and im getting 16-18 mpq driving up and down the mountains every day using 4wd pretty frequently in the snow.
Any ideas before i start throwing money away on parts i dont need. my inclination is o2 sensor?
