1993 4.0 Ranger Computer Died PAN1 replace with WHAT????
I was wondering if anyone could help me with this 1993 4.0 4x2 Ford Ranger. After a few days of trouble shooting, I found that we didn't have a bad fuel pump on the truck, nor were there any problems with relays, it was the computer. We put a 2.3 computer in the truck just to be sure it would start, and she did. My question is we are having a hard time finding a used replacement computer. This is my sons truck, that he uses to get back and forth to work (McDonalds)and also serves as a local Voluntary Firefighter. The computer part number is EEC-IV F37F-12A650-VB- PAN1. Automatic Tranny. Can we use any other computer? I have tried to research and have found that they do have computers that end with MA, PA. What other truck computer would work, if any? We are at a lost. He really needs this truck running, if anyone has any ideas of what computer would get this thing running, we would be greatly appreciated. We have checked local junk yards and no luck. Thank You for any help.
