hello everyone
Today I performed the scan with the engine running.
My truck is a 5-speed manual, according to what I have seen on the web the procedure is like this:
after the first 3 flashes indicating the 6-cylinder engine:
1.Turn steering wheel to right left
2. step on the brakes
3. press the clutch fully
and wait for the scan to run.
This is what I did, but it never increased the revs, it simply sent code 111, it did not request the goose test with one flash.
It's very strange.
Could it be that the ECU has a bad capacitor and is not allowing the complete test to be carried out?
Could it be that since it doesn't have oxygen sensors (it came that way from the factory) it doesn't perform some tests?
However, I smell a lot of gasoline and the consumption in the city is very high.
Any ideas?
Do I disassemble the ecu?
txs!
