Hello !!!
New to the forum, I am trying to help get a 1994 Ranger running again, We do not currently know what kind of engine it is as I am still learning as I go, so I apologize for the lack of information it is FWD and Auto.
After much research I went and checked the transfer case motor under the truck and saw that the purple wire going into the mount is severed, the truck ran fine until we hit a train track, and when looking at the wire housing it was all out and hanging.
The truck will now crank the motor but will never start, after hitting the train track the only way to start the truck was to put it into neutral and now it doesn't do anything at all.
I reckon it may be that wire, but I don't want to spend 120 bucks on a new transfer case motor with out your epic knowledge letting me know if this is a step in the right direction to get it running again.
Thanks and I look forward to getting it all built back up over time with the awesome help of the walk throughs on this forum!
