1994 rough idle when cold

Engine will not idle when cold after a few minutes it is driveable then its ok. Cleaned IAC set tps. Had new upper and lower intake gaskets installed a few years back dont think thats it. Seems to gradually get worse. Could the ECT cause this bad of an idle. I notice now my heat gauge stays on cold seems to never move but I thought that was controlled by the other sensor switch. thanks for input

After much searching and trial and error I finally figured this one out.I was checking out the maf again and removed the plenum which has been removed alot lately.This time as I started to install it I flipped it over and noticed right off three slits or holes underneath where it connects to the maf itself. Almost like it rubs against something and caused this. Well I taped the holes shut and immediately no more idle woes when cold. The problem progressed to get worse but at cold temps. Well I hope this may solve someone elses ongoing idle problem. thanks
