Hello all,
This is my 1st post. I look forward to all the info to come.
I replaced the fuel filter, plugs and wires. Checked the coil pack for spark out of every wire and so far no change. I get a loss of power like the engine hick-ups when I accelerate it does not happen if I push the peddle to the floor its only when I'm cruising then come to a hill that it begins then goes away on the downhill side. I noticed its most common then it shifts into 3rd because the rps are so low ? i don't know. any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to this forum! Clean the mass air flow sensor, idle speed control solenoid, and the intake manifold. Check the fuel pressure with a pressure gauge. The service port is near the fuel pressure regulator. Add fuel injector cleaner into the fuel tank.

Thanks for the info. I don't have the book for the van so I'll have to look up locations for all you mentioned. You don't know where there is an online diagram anywhere for the 95 aerostar 4wd 4.0 ? if not I'll go bye the hayes book ...just haven't found it locally yet.

Yea its easy to find the service port its right on the fuel rail, it will remind you of a valve stem setup for a tire but aluminum.
