i have a 97 ranger 5 speed manual with a 4.0L and i was wondering how many miles i would have to drive to reset the computer for inspection. i have 4 mods that are saying not ready/incomplete. also how do i solve the problem for code P0117 engine coolant temp sensor input low voltage

Pull the negative battery cable for 15-20 mins and the check engine light will reset. I have nothing on your other issue, I'm a V8 guy.

You probably need a new coolant sensor and/or the connector is shorting out from coolant, then disconnect the battery for 15 min. then drive it around till it gets up to temperature which depends on engine load, probably less than 15 minutes.

Inspect the wiring, especially around the connector for a short. See the other details on the link I posted previously.
