Ok. I have a 1997 Ford Explorer Sport with the 4.0L control trac 4X4. I had recently had Walmart put a couple new tires on the back, but didnt go with the same brand as the front. These tires are the same size though. Ever since than (about 3 months ago) I have noticed alot of noises and vibrations. Now when I accelerate from a stop I get a vibration (like driving over speed bumps) at about 10mph and once I get to about 20-30 I get the whump whump noise. My tranny hasnt been slipping or anything.
The truck use to accelerate very smoothly, but now just seems to have different vibrations and hums. I assume the whump whump noise could be my front bearings, but would that cause my vibrations as well?
