1998 Explorer wont start,HAS fuel and spark!

the truck drove fine yesturday, come out this morning battery was low(old battery). tried jumping it but it was taking to long, so i put a good battery in and had plenty of cranking. the truck wont start,has fuel and has spark and getting to trouble codes.

Check fuel filter, if that's not it, check to make sure you're getting ENOUGH fuel. If your fuel pressure is low on cranking, the motor wont start, but if you have good fuel, and good spark, move on to the tedious stuff, and do some digging.
 






u said u put in a good battery. be sure that it has tha same amount of amps as your old old. putting in different size batteries can be a very bad thing to do. i would check ur fuel filter and pressure too just to be sure.
 






Security system? I do not know anything about them. But any engine needs three things to run- fuel,spark, and air. You say you have fuel and spark. How did you determine you have them?
 






Try taking the intake hose off and squirting starting fluid in at the throttle body (butterfly open), then slipping the tube back on and see if she fires at all. If it does then you may have a computer problem (injectors not firing). If not, then the coil pack might be bad.
