I have a problem with my idle, its slightly rough, not to the point where its bad, but its noticeable. I'm suspecting it could be the wires because it happened after I changed them a while back. At that time I bought a generic brand called Standard. What are good wires to replace with? Are Autolites good or is there something else that AutoZone or Advanced Auto Parts sell?

I woulde look aftermarket such as Magnecor ( the very best ), Jacobs, Taylor, etc.

Good luck ...

Purchased some Jacobs wires when I first bought my X and a year later the inside core on two of the wires seperated causing a lean misfire which also plugged the fuel injectors. New Ford Racing wires and fuel injectors brought it back to life. I don't agree that aftermarket is always better than OEM.
