So, I swapped out my transmission due to the last one crapping out on me, and we finished everything up and took it for a test drive. Now, everything is great, as long as you don't put it into neutral. Once neutral is engaged, it won't go into reverse or drive. But if you put it into 2nd, and then drive, that will work(still no reverse). Now, if you turn the ignition off and start it back up immediately, reverse and drive are good, just as long as you don't allow neutral to engage.
I'm thinking that the electronics in the neutral switch/range sensor are to blame, but not sure.
Has anyone ever had this issue? Am I correct in assuming that it's the neutral switch/range sensor?
