SO here are the 2 issues.
The first one i have figured from all the other post(and thank you ALL)

Cold air coming from behind the glove box= fresh air door broken and will replace. Part costs 75 clams up in Canada as i run a truck shop

#2 i found that when i have the heat on or the ac, i always get it coming from all locations- defrost, floor and console vents. It does change depending on what setting it is, though it always comes from the console sides( almost burns the wifes purse, when she has it by her left knee).

Trying to fix this problem once and for all as we are heading on a road trip soon and want things all to be good.

Cheers everyone who replies, all answers = great results

yeah I guess it called a mode door that might be the problem, I kind of have the same problem, my fresh air door was broke too I just JB welded it back in place where I have fresh are all of the time until this spring when its warm to fix, i have a issue when the heat is on and I press the defrost button on my dual climate control I get some hot heat out of defrost but then I get a lot out of the sides of console I guess you can pull out the radio, and find the door actuator back there, I was going to do that this weekend but I never did. maybe next weekend or its just the nature of the defrost, but when I want it to got to defrost I want all of the air to go to the defrost:rolleyes:

I hear ya. Right now its - 6 were we are, so its about time i did it. I have had this problem since i bought it back in 05 and even the dealer said " its just the system" i even said bull---t and they still said SORRY. Just like the diff noise of a failing bearing they could not hear until it was out of warranty.
