I've had everything from a 2 chamber Flow with 2 1/4 tail pipe, to nothing behind the cats at all. Recently, I had a pipe bent up to exit before the back tire, but the guy did it in 2 inch without askin' me. I wasn't mad, but now i wonder if 2 1/4 would be better in the long run. *shrug* Or would it even make a difference bein' that there is no muffler anyway. What do ya think? (long question short: Is 2 inch too small?)

It is probably better because you keep some backpressure.

2.25 would be better.

I think 2" is fine since you free up some backpressure as it is by not having that long pipe that extends all the way to the back. Having larger pipes more than that and you might loose some torque.

I thought about doing this to mine (but with a muffler). Please post a picture once you are done. I want to see how you could make the pipe exit to the side. Thanks. :)

My GF should let me borrow her camera soon. Just to give ya an idea..... Right from the cat, it angles down, below the frame, but very close. Then, it turns back toward the back of the truck under the back passenger door until the tire, where it curves, like a turn-down sideways out to the side. I'll see if I can get pictures, but it could be as much as a week.

I like the 2 inch overall... It sounds nice and looks good, but it doesn't SEEM like it wants to get to 5 grand as quick as I'm used to... But it's got all the pull it's always had and more... I know a guy in my town that will do it for 35 bucks again if I want, so it's up to me really. If anyone has anything else, feel free....
