I have a 2000 Ltd. Edition Explorer with climate control. The fan started running only on high speed. We replaced the blower motor control module and it worked OK for about 3 days then it started only running on High and would not turn off. Thought it was a bad module so the parts store gave us another, replaced it and worked fine for about 10 days and then started on high again and not shutting off. Temperature control works fine, will switch from heat to AC, floor to defrost. Can't believe we had two bad modules - any ideas what the problem is??

If you post this over in tech, someone may be able to help you out. Welcome to the site.

What module are you referring to? Have you checked out the blower motor resistor? It is a common part issue when only one speed is operational. Im not sure if it will prevent the fan from turning off but its possible I suppose
