Got a question about the front axle on the 2000 Mounty V8 AWD system. It appears the driver side axle seal is bad, as their is axle oil being slung all over the diff from this point. Question one: how hard is it to replace this, two: what gear oil does this have from the factory. I ask this cause some fords came with Synthetic gear oil in the front diff.
My Mom and Dad have to drive this back to Ohio today or tomorrow from California. Will there be any problems with this?
