2000 sport trac trans 5r55e going into 03 s/t, missing ISS sensor HELP!!

ok, the transi n my 03 truck crapped out after 168k miles, i found a replacement 5r55e trans but it does not have the ISS sensor which plugs in behind the neutral safety switch/ gear shift lever on the left side of the trans. can i use this trans without any issues or do i need the trans with that sensor?

I did a bit of digging, and the older 5Rs had the ISS mounted internally. You might be able to splice those wires in to that connection, if there is one. I don't have my pre 2001 ford manuals installed anymore, so I can't check the wiring/trans schematics for you.

I can re-install it tomorrow and see if I can find a better solution.
