2001 explorer xlt fig light trouble .. plz helpp . !!!!

I have a 2001 gold ford explorer xlt and the fog lights don't turn on . They only turn on when they feel like it and its aggravating me .. And most of the time they don't turn on .. When they do turn on its for a few minutes then dey go back off .. Any advice ?? Help plzzzz . !!!! "(

This sounds similar to a wiper issue I had recently. The solution to that was to swap out the relay.

Check your manual for the number corresponding to your fog light's relay. You can try pulling it out and swapping it with an identical relay from a different, non-critical system that is known to be working. If the fogs start working then it's probably time to replace that relay.

Other culprits might be:
- Bad bulb or bulb socket (intermittent electrical contact)
- Bad switch
