I have a 2001 Ford Ranger XLT 2wd. The blower motor works sometimes and sometimes it does not. When it works all of the speeds work. I suspect the blower switch is going bad. The blower seems fine and it is not showing the signs of a bad blower resistor (i.e., only works on the high speed). Has anyone had this problem? If so, how do I replace the blower switch? Thanks, DGWOmaha

Welcome to this forum! I've renamed your thread, and moved it into the Ranger section. It's unlikely for the switch to go bad. They seem to last a very long time. I would suspect the blower motor first.

I had that problem on my '00 and it turned out to be a bad harness under the dash.

If I remember correctly replacing the blower switch is pretty straight forward - pull of the knob, undo the mounting nut, pull off the plug in the back, and swap in the new one.
