2001 skipping in cold weather

Have replaced coil pack, checked plugs, new cam syncronizer and cam sensor.
Thermostat was stuck open and would never get to operating temp but that has now been replaced also, temps now excellent. When i leave 6am skips all the way to work (25 miles). Afternoon it seems to run good. Engine light came on this am when I stopped for gas?

Get the codes read (must be done with the check engine light on) and report back. It's probably just a bad plug wire or plug

Mine does this but not as bad as yours. My CEL is on and I am going to replace the upper/lower intake manifold gaskets in the next few weeks.
