hello all new to the forums, just bought a 2001 ford explorer sport trac 2w drive.
had it for about 1 month and now the transmission will not engage into any gear, park works but nothing else. no signs of any problem before hand and fluid looks good.
Shifter moves and so does all the linkage/cable I can see it moving where it links into the transmission. so I'm kinda lost on what it could be.
Only thing i can guess is maybe the seloniod in the transmission?
This just happened one morning, started up the truck put it into drive and it didn't go. It also is able to roll while shifted into drive 1 2 and reverse. Only park works. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.
