I just got a 2002 ford explorer and have been lurking around the forums lately.
2002 Ford Explorer Limited
4.6L V8 100K miles
What 100K maintenance should I do at this point?
Only things I can find wrong are:
Heated seats no indication they are turning on, either side. Going to check fuses but have no clue beyond that.
I need to figure out my entry code. I saw the sticky at the top. How do I determine if it's late or early model? I saw it somewhere before but can't locate it now.
The seat location set is functioning light wise but not moving the seat. Maybe I am not setting it correctly? Need to look at the manual.
I was going to check for the wiring harness wear from the sticky as well
The back jack storage lever/pull is broken
I can still get into it though.
Can't wait to spend the next 100K+ with this vehicle!
I hope the new explorer is as good as my 2000 has been.
