My wife has a 2002 V8 AWD Explorer with 90k on it. The tranny started acting up last Friday. On her drive home from work it revved up. That is how she described it. I took it out for a test drive and of course it did not act up. I'm thinking the typical 2-3 flare or somethng.
We already had plans on dropping it off at the dealer Sunday to have an A/C leak repaired.
We just added this problem to the list. I have read the solenoid packs go bad often. Also I have read an ECU flash can remedy some issues as well. Are there any other issues with the trans I can bring up when talking to the service dept?
