Does this engine have a camshaft sensor?
I'm fighting a P301 and P316 engine with horrible, terrible, undriveable rough idle. The problem appeared out of the blue with no hint of problems before this which leads me to think an electrical problem.
Have tried a new ignition coil block with no help.
Could a bad crankshaft sensor do this? I'm under the impression that the engine wouldn't even start if that sensor goes bad.
