Does the transfer case contain and share the Mercon V fluid from the transmission? or does it have it's own separate sump? 
It seems my XLT really sounds like hell if the front axles have been engaged and really screams at me when coasting down to a stop. Sounds like major pump whine. Okay as long as I don't engage front axles either by button or spinning rears on ice to turn on, as then it can't seem to unload...
I happen to install new tires on back same size as front, only they have tread on them, fronts not so great, would that be enough of load tho???
