2003 4.0 engine swap

Can a 4.0 sohc VIN E motor be used in a VIN K explorer (flex fuel)
for a egine swap. Ive got a lead on low mile Vin E 4.0

Vin K- Sounds like a flex with the "upgraded" fuel lines?

I don't see why not if that is the only difference. You might call Henson for a tune though...

yes it will work, my truck was a k and I put an e in and no problems, you have to swap injectors and fuel rail.

hey i have an 02 "E" and want to replace it with an 02 "K". Did yours work? If so, what all did you have to do?

My VIN "e" engine deal fell thru. I ended up getting a "k" on ebay for 975.00
and got it installed for 700 buck. No problems running great!
