2003 4.0L fuel filter: any particular brands you have had luck with?

I've got a 2003 4.0L Ranger, and would like to change the fuel filter over this summer. I've seen reviews that some filters just don't fit the bracket properly like a genuine Motorcraft filter does. Since a Motorcraft is likely going to be the most expensive, is there a brand that you've had success with that isn't difficult to install or too pricy, or is my best bet just a Motorcraft?

Stay with the OEM replacement that's guaranteed to fit and has served you well.
The "normal schedule" fuel filter replacement interval for your Ranger is 60,000 miles.
Spend the few extra dollars on the stock replacement filter designed for the vehicle.
