2003 8.8 ls swap into 95 ranger 2 wd

I have a 2003 ranger fx4 2:73 lS complete rear end that I want to install in My 95 Ranger XLT W/ 4.0. Can I just plug in the existing wire from the 95 rear to activate the lock up ? Also are there any other changes to make for this swap ? Any answers will be appreciated. I need the 2:73 to pull My small travel trailer. Thanks and have a good one, uncletim

2.73? Wtf I'm installing 4.56 in mine to tow...you must mean 3.73(what I have.. tow pkg)why not go 4.11? Keep in mind you can't use 4x4 with different axle ratios...
It should bolt up fine but the ls should be a true trac and they are automatic ls so no engagement needed
