2003 Radio Removal

can anyone tell me how to remove the stock radio from a 2002+ explorer?? it's giving me fits

go to your local auto parts store and pick up a Ford radio removal tool. With it your radio will just pop right out.

that's the way i've done every ford removal i've ever done.. however there's no holes for the tool on the 02+.... i'm stumped

02+ 4-door X's don't have the pin holes to remove it. I'm not sure about this, but i think the black trim has to be removed. Atleast this is the way it is on our 02.

ok so after 2 days of searching the web i finally found that the center dash bezel is held on by 6 static clips... found it on a site that sells cell phone brackets...

oh well thanks for the help, and i'm sure i'll be posting alot here as my install comes along
