The cruise control, tach, and odometer all work fine. Also shifts with no issue whatsoever. The speedometer, however, will either stay at 0 or go straight to 120. Sometimes, if I drive long enough it kicks in and starts to work like normal.

Not sure if it's something in the tranny, the dash, or someplace else. Thanks in advance!

Try disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery for 10 minutes. This will reset the computer.

mine did the same thing , I tried all the tricks ended up having to replace the whole gauge cluster but it worked fine afterward

You also could need a software update also. I know mine did that and it was a software update. But like cityworker said it could be a new cluster needed.
