Within the last several months I have noticed that intermittently there will be a beeping noise / tone that occurs when opening my door to enter the vehicle. I want to say the duration is about 3 beeps long (not positive on that). I tried referencing my owner's manual but could not find any information about this. To my knowledge my vehicle had never done this in the past. It does not happen every time I open the door, it's random/intermittent.
I do have a Viper car alarm on my truck but it's been installed for 5 years now and I had never experienced this issue.
I am also having problems with two different batteries that keep dying on me but I don't know if that's related.
I plan on having my vehicle serviced soon but figured I would ask here first.
