Check the condition of the internal parts of the ports. I inherited my mothers explorer and she had a tendency to spill drinks down the center console. Over time that created a large amount of corrosion in that port and it would not work as the corrosion acted like an insulation preventing electricity from flowing. I removed the port, sanded down the inside to remove the layer of corrosion and show bare metal and voila, working port.

If everything is clean (and the connections are good) then I have no idea.

Gave that a try real quick and still no luck, but thanks for the suggestion, I appreciate it!

I assume your talking about the power ports in the center console. I'd take out the entire console to inspect the wiring, it's not that hard of a task. Don't hear much about rodents these days chewing on wires, but you also don't know what the previous owner may of done.

Took everything apart, disconnected it , cleaned it, scraped it, cussed it a few times, then reconnected it. The front one works now, the rear one doesn't. Cussed it again and called it good. Only need the front right now anyway lol Thanks to all for your tips and suggestions, I appreciate it! Thanks to Kazer for his tutorial on how to add a USB charger for the info on how to take it apart.
