2004 Explorer SOHC - Primary Chain Lubrication

Can anyone advise as to where from the primary drive chain components are supposed to get their direct oil supply from, and in what quantity?

2000StreetRod?

I've watched this chain in action with the engine running and it doesn't seem to be drowning in lube like the cam chains.

First off, I don't think there was a SOHC in '96, not offered till '97 so which engine do you have or is this some kind of frankensteined build with a later model SOHC put into a '96?
