2004 Explorer with Kenwood DNX 7100

They said that it wouldn't fit, but here it is, a DNX 7100 in my 2004. Full navigaiton, sirius and xm radio, back up camera, blue tooth cell phone, the works... I think its a great match, looks natural.

Nice! I'm looking to put one I just bought into a Mountaineer.

What did you have to do to get the trim off around the stereo in the dash. Did you just pry it off, or was there a trick to it?

Also where did you install the antennea for the GPS?
 






I need to look hard at that unit. I have another vehicle that needs Nav. I really really would like to use the F90 Pioneer, but they need to get a few bugs fixed first. But the Pioneer is so customizable you can't believe it. It is amazing what they are doing with programming to that thing. Kenwood can't hold a candle to those features. Not just eye candy stuff either. Things like red light cams, speed cams, can be added to your nav. If this Kenwood can be programmed like that, I may change my mind.
