Ok, before anybody goes off and posts links to other gear shift alignment threads, I've seen them and they appear to be for 2nd gen X's and not specific to 3rd gens. I've looked at threads, seen videos and they all have that small cable bracket with the little turn knob so that you can turn the knob and align the shifter. I don't see anything like that on my 04. I do see the cable coming off the dash and going along the right side of the column and over to the right side firewall and out....but no adjustment wheel anywhere.
So....
How do you adjust the shifter cable on a 3rd gen X? My indicator consistently rests between park and reverse.
Please help!
