The Coast/Decrease Speed Control on the steering wheel seems to have dirty contacts. On occasion if pushed very hard it will work but not often. Is it possible or advisable to spray electrical contact cleaner inside the assembly while still on the wheel? If not is disassembly easily done? Are the any sites with disassembly diagrams? Is it easily replaced if necessary? Can messing around here somehow affect or trigger the airbag?
Thanks for helping with any of these questions!

Welcome to the forum!

I believe the only way to access any of the buttons on the steering wheel is to remove the front of the wheel that contains the airbag. You may need a special type of torx tool to remove the bag. I personally wouldn't try to spray anything in there. There may be an issue with the button itself.

I don't know how mechanically inclined you are but if you were to ever find another set of buttons I'm sure you can do the replacement yourself. This same thing happened with my radio buttons on my Acura I had.

Good luck!

Can messing around here somehow affect or trigger the airbag?

YES, they can fire off unexpectantly. . there are many and repeat warnings in the manual, for my jeep they said disconnect the battery wait 10min for the caps to discharge. . .before you remove the airbag.

Mine does the same thing. There are tons of switches available on Ebay for a standard wheel but not for the limited because it has the extra switches for the radio and HVAC.
