On my 2004 Ford Explorer, I can shut the vehicle off in any gear and remove the key. Also the vehicle won't go into gear unless I use the Shift interlock override. I've been able to determine that the two blue microswitches in the steering column are the problem. Ford no longer sells the wiring harness. Does anyone know the part numbers for these microswitches? Or is there a way to replace with an aftermarket part/parts?
