Hi all,
As the title states, I've an '04 XLT, its my first Pickup Truck (I'm from Ireland, biggest passenger vehicles that can realistically fit on our roads are 3.0L SUV's max),
Currently standing at roughly 180,000KM on the odometer, haven't had to do much to it mechanically only change oil, new fuel rail pressure sensor and put in new sparks (Iridium),
I'm looking to make some cosmetic and hopefully performance adjustments to it, good ol' Bertha has a bit of wear and tear on the outer paint i mean after 18 years it was bound to happen, starting to fade in certain spots, so any paint care tips would be great!
Looking to do some weather proofing before winter comes full swing, rubberised undercoating or oil based ? Saw some Honey goo oil undercoating on sale in Canadian tire and it has better reviews for water displacement than rubberised undercoating!
Any recommendations and/or suggestions would be great as I know literally everyone here on this forum has a lot of experience with these vehicles!
So far I bagged a Tonneau cover, but she originally came with a Canopy too, which i have in storage out the back of my house!
Previous look when I got her:
