Hi in tired of the humming from my new suv. The previous owner changed the gears and rac n pinion. That didn't help. The mechanic than did the work told him if he found another used rear end he would change it for free. Seeing how the noise didn't stop. The stick says 46 under the word axle. Will my wrecked 2002 4.0 explorer axle work. Even though it has a 45 under the word axle? I don't really have any money to buy a new rear differential. And the humming noise is killing my ears!! Lol
