Twice in the past month my explorer has completely shut off while driving it. The display on the dash says to "Check Fuel Cap". I take the cap off and put it back on. And move on. There isn't any warning before it shuts off and it starts right back up and runs great, before and after it shuts off. Would the gas cap cause it to shut off? What do you think? Any advice would be great.
