2006 awd explorer vibration in r

I'm trying to figure out a shudder/vibration in reverse. It only does it when you give it gas. if you just roll back/coast nothing but as soon as you give it gas it feels like a 4x4 on dry ground. It feels like it's coming from the left rear. any help is appreciated

Sounds like the reverse band is slipping under load. Very common on these transmissions to have the lining of the band flake off. Bad news is it has to come out to be repaired. Could be a pressure issue.May want to drop the pan and have a look to see if it is clean or your band lining is there. Let us know what you find.
