2006 Interior Door Handle

I'm new here, I looked for a previous thread but nothing popped up.

I know the handle is something to get used to, however my wife is pregnant and the door handle is a real chore for her to adjust to (we bought the vehicle a month ago) and I'm sick of hearing this complaint 6 times a day.

Is there an after-market door handle that I could replace the "arm-rest" with for a handle and make it much easier for her?

Gotta go to a wrecker and get a whole new panel. It sucks but there should be a few. They got rid of these stupid doors half way through the model year.

If the wreck yards don't pan out, Green Sales Company in Cincinnati (obsolete Ford parts hoarder) recently purchased 150+ new door panels, all sizes & colors and they are truly interested in selling them.
