Bought this with 25000 miles and have 45000 and no problems of any kind! But the other day when i pushed the rear power window button it worked but was no longer auto(push once for vent, once more for full opesn, push up button and windo auto up)and instead it would only go up or down if the button was held in. I actually liked this because i could have a 3/4 vent but it was not supposed to be this way. Sure enough came out of a store and window went neither up nor down but luckily it crapped out in the up position.
There was a 'reset' bit of advice i found and went through the cycling several time to no avail. Then using my multitester, I test two fuses(one was for sunroof and rear window and other was just rear window?)Both checked out fine. They also showed not burnt sign. So any other ideas? I can take it to my dealer and let them play but if there were an inexpensive fix I would like to try that first.

Thanks for any idea/help.

Let me know what you find. This happened to the Drivers window. I have noticed about 5-10min after it starts in the morning the window will not respond at all. Then it works fine after the 5 min. Now Auto down works but I'm not 100% but i thought it had an Auto up? If it did its not working and long out of Warranty. My '10 mounty has Auto Up/Down.

not sure about 2010 but my 07 limited just has auto down, not auto up...

I get occasional bugs in the circuitry. Usually just turning off the ignition does the trick. My satellite radio was missing today, I turned off the truck and restarted it and it was back. Sometimes disconnecting the battery is needed to reboot and correct problems.
My rear window has the auto up. I just figured out the other day if I do a double tap it will stop the few inches down instead of the full return. I wish the window could be left in any height desired.
