Just bought an 07 with 125k on it. It was running fine for the first few days. When the vehicle is cold and I accelerate it has a strange surging issue. It's like the gas pedal is being modulated up and down on its own. After the first acceleration it completely stops doing this and drives fine. Put new plugs and wires and doesn't feel like a spark issue. It's like someone is taking over the drive by wire system and throttling the engine up and down rapidly. No check engine lights or anything. Removed the throttle body and it wasn't very dirty but cleaned it anyways. Hasn't changed anything. Unhooked the battery and did a relearn of the PCM but nothing has changed. I'm scratching my head.
