Well, as they say, "Anything can be done if you have enough money." In this case I'd say that's pushing the limit: If you get a chance to put the seats from an '03 Explorer into an '08 Ranger - pass on it.
For starters, the centerline dimension of the tracks aren't even close. So, while the tracks on the Ranger can be unbolted, the seat tracks on the Explorer can't - they're riveted. Also, they're located in such a way that you'd have a heck of time either trying to drill them out grind them out using a die grinder.
Next, the front to back hole locations on the Ranger seats are the same (left and right). On the Explorer, the locations are offset. (In other words, the front to back dimension for the mounting holes are different on each side.)
I'm a pretty good welder and fabricator and, in my estimation, this swap isn't worth the aggravation.
They're gorgeous seats but they're too labor intensive to swap. I've put them on Ebay.
