2010 EB Explorer door question

Greetings - I just bought a 2010 Eddie Bauer Explorer to replace my 2003 with impending timing chain issues. It appears quite sound except that the driver's door seems "hollow" and not that heavy on closing it....you can see the door skin buckle slightly. The garage took it apart and found it was not missing anything, and the Carfax shows no accidents (I do know some can slip by). Is there a way, markings, etc to tell if a door is an OEM part/original?? there is no evidence elsewhere if an accident. If it is original, why would the door feel so cheap?

I had the same suspicion about my driver's door on a 2002 Explorer I owned. I looked at the Specifications sticker on the side of the door and it looked like someone had pulled it off, destroying the sticker (and info). Might want to check to see if the tag is intact. If so, I'd say it's probably the original door. (I had a Mustang that had the same hollow sound when you closed it.) My 2006 door sounds much more solid.
