Hi everyone,

I'm almost done with this project, and took several photos detailing the steps involved. I still have to put on a clear gloss coat, and do some touch up work to the center part of the cover. This adds a really nice "custom" look to the standard wheel covers. Total cost ~$25. I used high quality spray paints...

...NEXT WILL BE AFTER GLOSS COAT, AND TOUCH UP TO CENTER...

Why such giant full res pics (1935 X 2592)?

Wow! Those pics are huge, LOL! :D

Wheels look good, nice job.

One suggestion I would have is to resize your pics to 800x600 or 1024x768 next time you post. Makes things a little easier to read on devices other than a high res computer monitor.

What else do you have planned for your ride? Keep us posted :)

Looks good, but you can see the primer showing through in some spots.

That looks awesome! I thought about doing the same to my base. Can you post pictures of them on your ride?

Again - nice job!

Look great! Can you take a picture with them on the vehicle?

Do you have to remove the lug nuts before you can take off the wheel covers?

Yes. The lug nuts have a rim on them at the base that acts as the retention mechanism for the wheel covers.
