2012 Explorer XLT
I have a 2012 Explorer XLT and coolant is leaking from a spout on the radiator. it's located under the upper radiator hose. Auto parts guy said it was a relief spout and was probably stuck open. We replaced the radiator but same problem. The radiator is part 13185. Any other explanation as to why is coming out?

Excessive pressure build up ? Have a combustion test done on the coolant recovery tank. Possibly a head gasket leaking compression into the cooling system.

Welcome to the Forum Frankie.
Have you had a pressure test done on the cooling system? Any chance the leaking is actually from the engine weep hole?

I'm. Curious. What is a relief spout.. Are you talking about an air bleeder valve ?

I think you quoted the wrong person. I have not heard of this "relief spout" before either.

Relief spout? Do these not have a traditional radiator cap for pressure relief into the reservoir? Can we get a picture?

Is it behind the ac compressor by chance?
