I have been waiting two months for the part. Does anyone have any information on the availability of this part?

My repair shop tells me it is the entire assembly that includes the electric motor and the rack & pinion, plus associated connections. I'll get the exact part number. I've been waiting two months now for Ford to make it.

I'll post the part number shortly.

Here is what this particular site shows for your 2013 XLT.
Levittown is a forum vendor and will give a discount to members. The parts, like everything else these days, could well be in short supply.

Thank you, Peter. Yes, that's the part. My shop told me today that Ford just changed the part number, which he found odd. He was told that there are at least 2,000 Explorers like mine awaiting this part, and that Ford today released 360 of them They cannot tell him where I stand in the line, if there is a line.

Meanwhile, my car sits for over two months gathering dust, as it is undriveable.

FYI Scott. You can save $$ by getting it from Levittown. You will find it much more expensive from Ford and/or the Ford parts website.
